Hi all,
I have a 1975 504ti sedan on which I recently changed the shock absorbers. I switched from the original shock absorbers to a set of Monroe shock absorbers but unfortunately this has significantly raised the ride height of the car (which already rode fairly high). There is nothing wrong with the Monroes but the ride height is irking me. Can anyone recommend an aftermarket shock absorber I could change to that will reduce the ride height back towards original?
Thanks very much,
Richard

Hi Richard, I replaced a set of Alanquant shocks, with ACDelco. The first thing I noticed was how much lower the rear end was. I can't say they are fantastic shocks, but they do make the car sit low.

Hi Tonch,
Interesting to hear. Aliquant are the oem shocks are they not? Where are you based? I was wondering where the AC Delcos would be available.
All the best,
Richard

The OE shocks for Peugeots were made in house by Peugeot! Best shocks in the world.
Allinquant used to be an OE for Renaults back in the sixties.
