Just thought I'd share this with you, ... driving back from London to Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon I was on the M3. Just past Winchester and this black Citroen DS joins. We were doing 70 in the 504D, and it was some miles before this big black beast caught us up, but it really did cause the traffic to slow and watch, a 504 and DS side by side on the motorway ! It must of been a DS19 as it couldnt over take my 504 diesel! That must of annoyed a BMW for at least a minute. :-))))

Easy to tell. DS19 has the single round headlamps in the wings, DS20 and 21 have faired in shark style headlamps. DS23 also has shark headlamps but would have been past like a rocket so you would have been able to read the rear badge (just)

what skool of Cit did thee come from? DS19 was made until 1969 and the frog eye finished in 1967.

I thought all the 19's had the frog eyed lights, maybe not, my knowledge of DS's is cursory at best. As a designer of course I am genetically programmed to want a DS, though I think I prefer the CX aesthetics in reality.

I'm with you there on the CX. Fantastic to drive. The bills that go with it perhaps not quite so. And well done GLD for pointing out the frog eyed and shark nose DS numbers. As for driving one, trust me, you stick with your ZS. There not all their cracked up to be. .
