Early 504 Cab electrical problem

Hi Guys,

Not sure if someone can help with this but my mechanic has found a strange quirk with the electrics for my 1970 504 cabriolet.
It appears to lose power as the car warms up until eventually there is not enough spark to power it at all.
It then stalls and can't be restarted again until it cools down, and without a a jump, and the whole process starts again!

He's checking through the manuals etc but any hints anyone can offer would be much appreciated.

Luke, Do you still have your 504 Cabrio? I ask as I am just in the process of buying one and wondered where you get yours serviced. Thanks Andrew
