Jump starting problems

Hi people,

A question for you all , a friend has just got a subaru car, other owners have said that some have had problem with Engine management sysytems after jump starting any new or modied pug owners found this with cars petrol or desiel.

Yes! some cars shouldnt be jump started or pushed! Always read the manual!

Odd that engine EMS makers arn't protecting the systems which is a simple thing to do and only need a few small components.
