I have a C reg peugeot 205, its the very early type with the 1.4l talbot samba engine. The car is currently not road worthy but the body and engine are both sound. Some bits of the bodywork may require some minor attention, the engine was rebuilt just before I took the car off the road. The rear beam, brakes and suspension will all need to be overhauled. The car has just about every MOT from new with it so some history with it.
I havnt got the heart to break the car, it still holds some sentimental value. I havnt got the time to put the car back on the road. Anybody interested in taking the car and making use of it can have it for free provided they are prepared to collect the car (you will need a trailer)
I am located near Northwich in Cheshire.
If you are interested please email me at elephants_uk@hotmail.com
cheers

Hi
I'm interested. Is yours a 4 or 5 speed car?
The engine is the same as in my 104ZS so was wondering if you might be prepared/able to let just the engine go?
At least your car would help keep an older pug going!

hi, thanks for your interest. The engine is the XY7 5 speed unit - it kinda lays on its back with the alternator on the top. Id rather see the car go complete to somebody who wishes to make the thing road worthy and use it, otherwise Id just scrap it or break it.
I have got a spare engine in bits, your welcome to it if you want to come and get it. The condition isnt great but its clean and dry.

Hello Yup that's the engine in mine! But mine's a 4 speed so I'm looking to upgrade. I have a 5 speed group B subframe, just need an engine etc. if your spare engine's also a "5" that would be great. Where abouts are you? my engines in here, somewhere under the carburettors!

actually i hadnt realised you could get a twin carb conversion. got me thinking now, might just hang on to it. What other goodies are available to make these engines more lively?
