i had a 504 with the same 2.3 diesel engine once
they are a great engine provided that the cylinder head stays down (it has 23 head bolts for goodness sake)
if anyone want to buy this it's important to take it for a long hard motorway drive, 1/2 an hour at 75mph or 80mph should do it
if after that if it starts to push all of the water out of the expansion tank, walk away
mine would be fine until you drove it hard. you could leave it idling for hours, but as soon as you thrashed it down the motorway a bit...
after three attempts at getting the head gasket to seal, including head skims, pressure tests, and 23 new bolts, in the end I had to buy a new engine
