Well since the last update, another nine 404 C cars have been identified. So the database is at 1401 cars, about 8.3% of all 404 C cars ever made. Le Club 404 and I will be setting up an interactive database of these cars soon on a dedicated website. I will post a link when it is ready.
Again, anyone who has or knows the serial numbers of 404 Coupé and Cabriolet cars in Britain and elsewhere is encouraged to help us in this effort!

Hi apustam
Please open the bonnet of the car and look for the manufacturer's plate on the right front inner wing, it will show the serial number on there (the second 7 digit number). I can help you with all kinds of information if you get the serial number for me. I also know where to find an online 404 parts manual, let me know if you would like that.
If you could take a photo of the car and email it to me (click on my name to get my email address) that would be great too.
I have got two more serial numbers for other 404 C cars in the last week so the total now stands at 1418 cars identified!

I found an owner in Greece who is selling his car, and he agreed to add it to the registry! Nice guy. The car is a 1968 model, Arosa white, black interior, serial number 6802079. This brings the total up to 1432 cars. The URL for the car follows, in case anyone wants to practise their Greek, or buy the car! www.car.gr/classifieds/cars/view/206915/
