Right i'm not going to have a rant but i do think i should give the other side of the story. Both Leo and Chopper were more than welcome to be members but each had their own personal issues with the fact the club being the Peugeot SPORT Official owners club. Just remember there are two sides to every story but only one version of the truth. You got the wrong bloke. I (Chopper) have never mentioned the Peugeot SPORT Official owners club. I am not a member of Peugeot SPORT Official owners club. I have been the owner of a local club for a few years, but renewed here recently after a 7 year hiatus. If I recall correctly, the website wasn't even here back in 2002, though that could be wrong? we couldnt care about the past problems, leave that in the past, welcome guys anyway ive been here and psooc, and personaly like both, have fun

Thankyou Frank. It's kind of weird being back, what with having a website now. I just been on the phone to Alisdair. We got some interesting news cooking, but I'll let him announce it in the club magazine That's nice work with the light there Lee. Did Perrys have it in stock, or did they order it for you? I tend to use Riverside for my parts, I have a good rapport going with the parts man there.

No, well they phoned me asking about Pugfest.. and they told me that they have had a clear out with all the old Peugeot parts etc so i asked them if they had anything 106 stuff going cheap, and they said that they have a BN Boxed Rear Tail light for a £10 so i said I will take it.. They also said that they have a few parts & accs for some newer pugs also..

We're both fed up with the discrimination that we were experiencing cos we didn't own 205 GTi's - it wouldn't be so bad, but most of those making the sarky remarks own rusty old shonkers only one step from scrap so there wasn't much for most of them to crow about. Me and brother Leo just fancied a more inclusive club with a more mature (in intellectual terms) membership, and I suspect CP will be mopping up a few more such new members over the next few months. Anyway, that's not my problem any more and won't be mentioned again. Sufficeth to say myself and Leo are pleased to be here. I completely understand why you moved, I mean you've got to go where you feel most comfortable I'm quite happy still over on PSOOC but having said that, I may make the CPUK a more regular haunt as there are some interesting cars and topics of discussion over here as long as I'm welcome Please don't slag anyone or anywhere off though...everyone's different so everyone feels happiest in different places. How boring would the world be if we were all the same?! I believe everyone makes mistakes and deserves a second chance... ;D

Well said Nath....everyone is welcome but dont throw the toys out when you get told something you dont like....
Great selection of cars on this site though....great to see the really old Pugs alive and kicking.
The Mid Southern Counties Region of the PSOOC will hopefully attending the CPUK National Day on the 16th Aug....loving the fact that its in Tilford....spent most of my youth growing up round there as a kid (lived near frensham great pond).
Look forward to meeting other pug-nuts!

I'm looking forward to seeing a 505, 604 and 104 in the flesh! I'll have one of each one day but I'm a bit too young to remember them first time round
