I do have more in the upload queue but just realised 55meg of web space soon vanishes with these files. Shout if you want me to change the files once downloaded.

Yes my version is 12meg so a bit too big for the website. Anybody got a 405 take by breath away one?
this was an old message thred and i have cleaned out my webspace to host other stuff, but videos can still be watched each month for non members via the homepage.

All mine are in standard mpg or mpeg straight from the dvd player, but the site only uses horrible old quicktime at the moment :-(( which means you have to have iTunes installed as well and all this guff about google task bars chewing away at your processor. Hopefully we can go back to mpeg / mpg which can be copied directly to cd-r and put in to a dvd player wihtout conversion.

This is why I hate video, no standards at all. There is no doubt that quicktime is the best format re quality and reliability but thanks to the windows installed based the suckiest system is the most popular (wmv). Without a doubt anyone still using ie is just asking for it, it is completely outdated and resiliantly non standards comliant. For goodness sake it's only just got tabbed browsing sorted out. Any sensible web user should be on Firefox or one of the other mozilla browsers. Still, as a sop to our windows brethren I will change the system to regognise a few other codecs. wmv a problema sthat means windows media player only.
