Thanks for everyone's support and sympathy.. Not found that door yet though. Logged on and registered with various French places, and no joy as yet. my mechanic says a door skin will even do, if anyone happens to have one, as he thinks the actual door may be rebuildable.. Going to stick a pic up in a mo...:0(-

Let me know where you get your door from.I`m helping my mate restore a 504 cabriolet,as I said new body parts do not exist and any used ones are rusty.

Well, an update for you all. my 504 cab is back together again, with a door from Kurt Orbie, which needed reskinning, but did the trick. Handle is ok, but the locking mechanism is playing up, meaning my wife has to launch herself into the car 'Starsky and Hutch style' at the moment, which isn't good for her street cred. My mechanic has asked whether anyone of the forum knows if the door locks/parts were interchangeable from the saloon models or even other makes, as there might be more parts around... anyone any ideas? Many thanks, and hoping to still make the meet in September to defend my Concourse D'Elegance!
Cheers for all your help and support.
Luke
