So I go into work today and think it will be the same old, same old day when one of my co-workers points out that there is a promotional Cars 2 stand at the bottom of the car park with life size models of Finn McMissile, Tow Mater and Lightning McQueen.
During the day, an idea pops into my head. How awesome would a photo of my 107 next to them be? So the day carries on, my shift ends and just as I am about to head over to the stand to ask, one of the main organisers comes in. Turns out his car's battery is flat and he needs a jump start. I do not hesitate to run out the back to grab the jump starter. This is when I asked him the question and he was more than happy to oblige my request!
Helping me reverse into the the little paddock style area, he pays me some nice comments about the car saying how well kept it was which was nice!
So I was beaming like a Cheshire Cat on the way home! Also, on a related note, a few years back a friend of mine mocked up a photoshop image of my car as if it was in the Cars movie. The result is below:
Naturally, I showed it to the guy who loved it! Altogether, a pretty d**n awesome day!
