Just wondering if anyone can help with our 52 plate 1.1 206.
We were out driving today and about 5 minutes before we got home we noticed that the noise coming from the car was much louder and deeper than usual. By noise coming from the car i mean the general "engine" noise that the car makes...though the actual noise may not be coming from the engine (sorry if this is confusing )
The noise is no different other than it being a few octaves lower and a bit louder...that is, there are no grinding, squealing or rattling noises (no more than usual anyway ) However, we are obviously still worried that this is going to be something expensive.
The plan is to get it to a garage ASAP (gonna be fun on a bank holiday weekend ) but if anyone has any experience of this it would be really helpful if you could let us know what your problem was, how it was resolved and how much it cost.
