Hi, I am a relatively new member who lives in Brisbane, Australia and I am undertaking a bare shell restoration of a '69 404. I have removed a fair amount of the front end (Both sub-frame sole plates, buttress', radiator support panel, panel between the inner guards and sections of the floor pan that are rusted through.) due to extensive rust. Once the front is repaired, the sections under the windscreen on both sides will be replaced along with the rear cross member and panel between the tail lights. After all that, there should be a little of the old shell left? However my concern is now that because so much has been removed, the alignment of the chassis is questionable. Although extensive measurements were taken prior to stripping, I would like to check the alignment against original factory settings prior to welding back the new sections. (These sections are a combination of new panels source from Franzose etc. and ones fabricated from new panels which have been loaned to me from a local fellow 404 owner.) Is there a UK member who has a copy of or knows where I can obtain these measurements/specifications. On the web I have found information relating to 504 and 505's but nothing for 404's as yet. Cheers, Dan. Attachments:

The 404 registrar of this club may help you (but I think you will have to join first?). The best Peugeot man in the UK is Dean Hunter www.peugeotparts.co.uk. Have you tried www.serie04.com ? or Peugeot France ? they have a department for classics I think.
