Hi guys,
I'm new here but hopefully someone can help...
I've got a R plate 406 Executive Turbo. While she might not be anything special to most I'm quite attached having had the car for many years!
Recently the turbo has stopped working, at first it was intermittent, but now seems to have stopped all together. It did this once before and kicked in after about 3 months for seemingly no reason and had been working fine for about 4 years!
It's the petrol engine which is why I'm finding it a little hard to track down any info.
I just wondered if anyone had any advice on things I should check as possible obvious solutions? Failing that, any idea the best place to find a replacement? I've been quoted the best part of £700 just for the part at the moment and ideally, if I do have to replace it, I'd be able to find a slightly cheaper alternative.
Any advice would be greatly received!
