Just taken delivery of a very smart 304 s cabriolet, and was wondering what fuel to put in? Various threads on here suggest unleaded/super unleaded with an additive, but could do with some reassurance before I "fill her up!"

The 304 like all Peugeot`s have an Ally head and hard valve seat inserts and never get problems using unleaded fuel.I always use normal unleaded with a dash of Castrol Valve Master but it seams to run better on super unleaded. Its important that the ignition timing is first set at 5 degrees BTDC and if you get any pinking retard it 1 or 2.Experiment with it?
