Somebody, anybody...please help!!.....
The wife has a 307CC and was travelling home from work yesterday....all windows down...the roof down and enjoying the drive.......when the cambelt failed!!.....the car ground to a halt and I had to go tow it into a layby ( was on a dangerous bend on a fast country road ) whilst we waited for the RAC.
The RAC finally arrived some 31/2 hours later and had to recover the car back to our address. Problem is....the roof and windows are all stuck open as the electrics have been disabled as the car is stuck in economy mode!!....I obviously cannot start the car without a cambelt....I have tried connecting jump leads...charging the battery...disconnecting the battery for 1/2 hour....still no joy!!....is there anyway of resetting anything to get it out of economy road so we can at least protect the car from the elements!....
