Hi there,
I've just picked up a 1991 205 GT, it's the single twin choke carb 1360cc unit, also powering the later XSs and AX GTs.
Anyway, loving the car, but it does have an annoying tendency to cut out when under strong braking and depressing the clutch. Braking alone won't do it, nor will operating the clutch, it only happens when off choke and off throttle, decelerating and depressing the clutch. When it does happen, the battery light illuminates, but that may be because the engine is off and it's telling me the ignition is ready (a la, the startup process).
Has anyone had anything like this? I imagine it something stupid like a wire caught on something, but I can't see anything obvious. It doesn't have any trouble idling otherwise.
