Hello All
Just been given a 306 Cab by my father in a swap
But the first attempt to lower the roof ended in failure
The roof door/flap snagged slightly on the bodywork and did not fully open...consequently the electrics stopped...I had to finish the move off manually and have had no success in getting them going again.
I have searched the net and found only one solution which was a reset procedure but this did not work...so as a result I have been doing the hood manually with the crank in the boot for the last few hot weeks.
However I have now overturned the nut and it spins without operating the lock.
So the hood flap is only closed by the weight of the back of the hood. I need to firstly fix the nut and pin to operate the hood flap lock. Anyone know this procedure. And when I have done this and made sure the flap is nice and clear of catching the bodywork then I need to sort out the stalled electrics. My fingers are crossed as I could not find a thread on here discussing this.

Hi there, I know it’s 18 months since you posted your query, but I’m just curious to see if you got this sorted eventually? Happy New Year!!
