Hi. I have a 1992 CJ with the electrically operated hood. The mechanism moans and groans and is hesitant when operated, due to neglect in its past life. Can anyone tell me the best way to lubricate it and how to check the oil and how to generally maintain it. I’m lacking a handbook and my Haynes manual doesn’t cover this. Thanks.
