Mrs just passed her test and yesterday bought her a second hand 207s 1.4, one with no front fog lights if that's any use. When taking it a test drive all seemed well except a message saying Plip Computer spent, fella said it was the Key battery and did a bit of research and things seemed to point to this. Upon driving this today it has now started with loads of faults on the screen, faulty indicator, faulty rh brake light, faulty foglight etc. It was missing a reg plate bulb so popped one in today and still have the same issues. Question is, I've checked the back right cluster and there does seem to be a bit blackness around the earth(pin 2) but with the plip message also coming up I am worried it may be a system issue and not the combined earth and key battery, what is folks opinions? The beeping wouldn't bother me but as a new driver who just wants to concentrate on the road it is putting the Mrs off going out in it so I wanna get to the bottom of it as quick as possible, and if it is just the earth is there a quick fix that doesn't involve a whole new loom?
