Hi, I'm confused about the soft top stowage on my 75 304S. Mine stows away like the gold car below and the seats push right up against the roof rail and I can't recline the seat any further. The tonneau cover just sits on the top. The other photo shows a roof that stows away very compactly and the tonneau cover folds right over the hood - what's the difference? How can I fold mine away so that the mid-seam of the tonneau cover is in line with the front of the folded roof so that there is more room behind the seat? What am I doing wrong!? thanks Phil Solved- I worked out that the centre hood rail should hinge back - mine was seized so I lubricated the pivots and slowly worked it backwards and forwards and it now will push back to fold neatly and is pulled forward by the cables to code the hood. I'll look at adding some strong elastic straps to try and pull it back automatically when folding the hood. Attachments:
