Hi, as per the title really. I'm trying to help a friend find out a bit more about it. I've tried the Facebook Dangel page but all it's gathered is a load of likes and no additional info so I thought I'd try here. Has anyone an idea of how many were built as all I can find trace of is LHD examples. Someone also suggested that the registrar here may want to be made aware of it? Tia. Paul.

A RHD 504 Dangel pick up is a very rare beast because all the 4X4 Peugeots were converted by Dangel in France. Is it a UK model or did it come from South Africa or one of the other RHD countries. What ever its a very handy tool, bullet proof, will go up the sid of a mountain. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dangel

In all honesty I don't know, hence asking here, the chap who owns it was told it was some sort of prototype by the previous owner but you know how these things get invented over the years. Can anything of its origin be confirmed from the VIN? Looking at the plate that's on it I'd have assumed it's a UK version as it looks like every UK car one I've ever seen. The mechanics certainly seem well built, I've just had to get the front wheel bearing out and it's pretty substantial. The rear tub however isn't looking so good and could do with the sides replacing really. That's an old pic. The current ones off my phone are too big to upload but it's looking a bit sorry for itself at the mo.
