Hi All, I've been pondering getting an aftermarket air filter for my 1972 B02 304 cab s - www.knfilters.co.uk/search/product.aspx?prod=56-9059 for example - and although it says out of stock they told me they make them to order so you if you put it in the basket and pay for it they make it in the UK factory and send it out within a few days. Has anyone got experience of these or other aftermarket filters? I'm looking as my first attempt at a replacement for the OE filter itself was the wrong size and I've heard that the K&N's are very good. I've also heard they thin out the mixture on other brands and this means other parts / nozzles etc need to be adjusted as part of the fitting. It appears to be a very easy fit from the manuals but any experience / thoughts would be very much appreciated!? All the best, Matthew

Hi Matthew, Sorry mate I cant see the point of spending £90 and fitting one of these. It will just be very noisy and make the engine run weak. Keep that lovely old classic standard. Dean Hunter will have the correct O/E filter. www.peugeotparts.co.uk/

Ditto!
Hi oldpug, hope you're keeping well. Thank you for all the advise and tool lending you did for me and my 304 rebuild! Restored a datsun 120y since, and I'm just starting a mini 1275gt that hasn't been run since 1993. Wish me luck!
Take care mate!
