Hi All,
I've been pondering getting an aftermarket air filter for my 1972 B02 304 cab s - www.knfilters.co.uk/search/product.aspx?prod=56-9059 for example - and although it says out of stock they told me they make them to order so you if you put it in the basket and pay for it they make it in the UK factory and send it out within a few days.
Has anyone got experience of these or other aftermarket filters? I'm looking as my first attempt at a replacement for the OE filter itself was the wrong size and I've heard that the K&N's are very good. I've also heard they thin out the mixture on other brands and this means other parts / nozzles etc need to be adjusted as part of the fitting. It appears to be a very easy fit from the manuals but any experience / thoughts would be very much appreciated!?
