Hi all. Just a query and hoping somebody can give me advice. Thinking of returning to the Peugeot fold and would like to re-acquaint myself with a 205 [I've owned several before]. I'm on a pension these days and money is a bit tight so I'm wondering how much I should budget for insurance. I have had normal insurance for a number of years [10 years no claim proven] but I've not had 'classic car' insurance before. Can anybody steer me in the right direction please?

A classic car policy for a Peugeot 205 would be very cheep,£100 or less ??. How ever all classic car policies normally stipulate that you have another car as a daily driver, the car is not used for commuting, its garaged etc etc in other words its a w/end fun car. mind you a 205 on a normal insurance policy would still be very cheep, unless of course you get a mint 205GTi. I have my daily drivers and a classic car all insured with LV , very competitive rates and good service.
