I wonder if anyone can help me- my Peugeot 404 cabriolet, left hand drive, was 'given away' by my ex wife and I am currently in need of a valuation. I have one from a reputable vintage/classic car business but was wondering if there are any experts here who could give me an honest value from photos only. It was absolutely solid, all rust cut out and new metal welded in, being prepared for a bare metal respray. I still have the engine, interior etc but the rolling chassis with the gearbox/prop and suspension all in place with an uncracked dashboard. I can provide pictures and a chassis number and the engine number matches the chassis number. Perhaps someone knows where it is! If so, I can supply you with the engine etc to make the car complete again! Thanks in advance, Richard

I don`t quite understand? So you have the engine, interior etc, the body has gone walk about? Do you want a value of a complete finished car? or just the bare unpainted shell in that image? A bare unfinished shell and a pile of parts wont fetch much as the man hours for painting and assembly would be very expensive. Also how would people know that the engine, injection system, gearbox etc is in good working order? A very difficult question to answer. Mind you a fully restored 404 Cabriolet could fetch anything from £20K to £30K may be more?,but it has to be good and drive well.
