Hi, does anyone know how many of the 750 licensed 308 gti’s are affected with the front caliper issue - rusting pistons due to not having a dust seal. This destroys the calipers, £2k discs and pads. I have been advised that no road vehicle should be designed without seals. Peugeot UK are not playing ball and won’t even underwrite a dealer inspection - they were going to charge me £140/h to inspect. Instead I am going for aftermarket cure - stainless steel pistons by Godspeed, Tarox discs and Brembo calipers. Seems that Peugeot think they can get away without a recall as there are so few registered.
