Does anyone know where I might get a Cruise control throttle cable for a 1994/L 405 STi (4 dr saloon, 1998cc petrol, 5 speed manual).
I have tried my local Peugeot dealer, to be told that Peugeot do not make them anymore.
I have also posted notices with a lot of the "online" car breaker services, but no joy there either.

Regrettably, many Peugeot dealers can't be bothered assisting owners of older models in their search for parts.
Can you get the part number from your local dealer at all? It does not matter that the cable is not made anymore, Peugeot should have it in stock. Your car is not that old, so I very much doubt the part is not available any more.

A 405 with cruise control is a very very rare beast, Ive never seen one myself, Do you still have the old cable?
Also there are a few bits that Peugeot no longer stocks for the 405 & if they do still stock it the price is very very high.
A Peugeot dealer somewhere might have part number 1628 Z6 SERVO CABLE sitting gathering dust on his shelf, Have you tried asking Peugeot U.K. customer services?
You might be better off seeking help from someone who can make you up a new bespoke control cable.
