I'm renovating a 205 CTI and have a problem re-fixing the side trim in place. The double-headed rivets used originally are no longer available from Peugeot and so far I haven't found an alternative source. Any ideas?

Try the normal source for obsolite Peugeot Parts, www.peugeotparts.co.uk You may have to consolt a good body shop, nodoubt they would have trays of all sorts of bits and bobs fixings wise gathered up over the years. Mat.

Which double headed rivets are you referring to?
The side trim is clipped onto the body using small, well, clips that attach to the trim and then slide over a single headed rivet (AFAIK). If these are missing, its common to simply screw the trim through the existing hole which are then hidden by the coloured insert.
