AERIAL WATER LEAK - HELP!!

???HI CAN ANYONE HELP??

THE CAR IS A 1994 106.

WATER SEEMS TO BE GETTING IN VIA THE AERIAL, AND DRIPPING THROUGH THE INTERIOR LIGHT.

ANY CLUES AS TO HOW THIS MAY BE CURED PLEASE??

Do you have a sunroof by any chance? A common misconception is leaks through the aerial, but 9 times out of 10 its a blocked drainage pipe from the sunroof. Another common pug problem. I have this in my Mi and it drips from the interior light (usually into my lap) and has also flooded my rear passenger foot well! The pipes just need a good blow through.

If of course you dont have a sunroof, then check the aerial isnt loose. It may be that you need some sealer but I cant say i've heard of this being a problem. Its either the pipes or in the case of the 205, the seals around the sunroof handle.

You need to pop out interior light with a screwdriver. undo 8 mm nut that hold aerial to roof. remove aerial base and clean roof and base. Apply a bit of silicone sealer around where the bolt goes through and re fit aerial.
