I've just had a whopping £285 quoted me for third party only on this 304sCabriolet I'm buying. Does anyone have a good broker/provider they could recommend to me?

That sounds high, only yesterday when Andrew put the ebay find up for the green 304 Cabriolet S on ebay was I tempted - so got a quote. I ran the number plate through www.confused.com and it gave £217 fully comp, 6000 miles, parked on the road. with Lancaster Classic Car Insurance. Have you tried the Club Peugeot broker? myself as the 504 is my only car I cant use the policy, so am with Carole Nash. www.carolenash.com/welcome.asp

Way too expensive. I initially paid £150 fully comp with 3kmiles/yr for my 504V6Ti. The 2nd year I got a quote for about £90. The cover included commuting to work and my wife as a secondary driver.
Sorry I can't remember the name of the insurance companies (car has been SORN while I'm in France) but I found them both doing a search for classic car insurance on the web.
