When standing over a rainy night i am experiencing a large puddle left in the rear footwell at the lowest part of the car. I can only think that the water is running from the rear of the rain gutter and finding its way through the doorseal. Anyone else had this problem? New doorseal best fix? Need to buy from dealer? £45 plus?

Does your 309 have the sliding glass sunroof? If so, check that the drainage holes are not blocked. Other than this, suspect tailgate seals. Water enters the boot and runs down behind the rear seat into the footwell. Also, check the rubber plugs sealing the paint drain holes in the floor have not been dislodged. (Water would only come in here while you were driving). If you still cant find the leak, sit in the back seat in a car wash. Good luck, Donaldiesel
