my 1993 405 estate has only one speed on the heater blower,(speed 3,hurricane).
i can switch it off by moving slider but nothing happens as slider is moved across speed 1 & 2.
many thanks in advance for any advice offered.

hi, I have 405 hunter, You may have a faulty speed control relay on the control board that is mounted on the fan motor it can be renewed without to much problem. Access is from inside the car remove the glove box, and the motor is fitted up under the facia. Unscrew the three screws and unplug, and motor falls out with board in it, renew the borad, and this might sort the problem.
Put all back together and with luck.

Clio's are know for frequently doing this, its the heater resistor module, best bet is a scrap yard. Simple enough to change; an hours work max.
