2.0 engine for 605

Is the 2.0 engine in my 1990 605 the same as the 2.0 engine in the 405, i need to know because i have to change my head gasket and there does not seem to be a user manual for the 605. Can i use the 2.0 engine section in the 405manual?

I would think the details in the Citroen XM manual will be more similar.
