Hey there, I'm new here even though I have had my 106 for three years. However, my warranty period is up and I have taken on the servicing duties myself!
My question is this: is there a qucik and easy way to reset the service indicator on a 2003 106 1.1i, or does it have to be done at a garage??
Thanks

I don't know how to do this myself but I understand it is not hard and you often find people on ebay advertising the method for sale. A bit of googling should throw up the answer. (mod) btw, welcome to the forum.

On my 306 if you hold down the trip reset button, and turn the ignition on at the same time it gives a 10 sec countdown then resets. HTH.

Yep, spot on that, cheers!!
Another quick question...at the right hand side of the ignition rail where it bolts to the engine, there is what looks like an earthing point. However, there is also a little black box there, what does this do?? It says 22F on the side, but it can't be a capacitor as a) why put one there and b) a 22 F capacator would be the size of a house. Any ideas?
Thanks again.
