Doctor Doctor I have a bad back....
well trade in the Ford KA and buy a real Peugeot that should sort it!!
Yes long story, and the 504 is fine but I find myself wizzing around in a Ford KA a freebie for a fortnight. Drinks petrol, gives me bad back and looks like it was moulded in a skip - quality motoring. How did they name it KAAAAAAAA was the designer choking on a Murry Mint when he announced his Car?

I dont like the styling (or name of the F*** KA, and have the pleasure of never having ever been in one. But do you have to drive it for two weeks, or can you just leave it parked on the road and take the Pug?

My missus has a special edition Ka (Full metalic black, black 'chrome' rims, full leathers, CD, AC etc), and i've had to drive this quite a bit due to various pugs being off the road. I dont agree it drinks petrol (25 quid last forever!) but what I will say is that it massively dangerous in the wet. I've never had a car understeer so badly at slow speeds in the wet! You get some speed through the corners in the dry and the PS pump whines like a small child in tesco that cant have sweets. Also it has the worst engine ever (last CVH IIRC) and its so gutless you can forget about the AC! And as for the leathers, I didnt know you could make leather from wood?

Well this weeks work's joy to drive is a new Ford Fiesta TDCi. 5 door, alloys a/c. Um... I don't like this either. I don't know what it is about Ford's the designers must have huge bottoms which just flab over the sides of the seats holding them in. Its like sitting on a church bench, no support at the sides and frankly rubbish. Interesting parts bin combination for the controls, didn't I have those peddles in my first MK1 fiesta? Gear shift, dont start me, clunky is the word. The Clutch cable squeeks after 8000 miles on the clock. The bonnet flexes in the air flow when you drive at 70, makes you think its going to pop open :-( And the brakes are shoddy. Finally the 1399cc direct injection diesel, from PSA :-))) Very quiet, even silent at 40mph running and any speed on the over run. Not a ball of fire excellerating, and when cold no diesel knock, just a tinny rattle like rattly valves. I guess with a 6 speed transmission it would be a little more responsive, closer ratios holding more towards the 2500 power kick in. 3 days left driving, I might be in agony by then. !
