Hi My Peugeot 307 battery died last night on me, so I had to re-charge it. Only now, I have a constant red light flashing on the key button location on the dashboard. I can open the car with the key but not the PLIP. The car won't start ethier. I have tried re-configuring my PLIP using this website www.peugeotdiesel.com/html/307_program.html I also came across another forum where the guy has had the same problem as me www.usedcarmart.co.uk/forum/printthread.php?t=1296 Is anyone please able to help. PLEASE!!!

Welcome to the world of Peugeot!!!!!!!!! It could possibly be a falt in the BSI caused by the battery going flat.

I read your post the other day and went out to mine just before, to find it seems like to battery is flat and its only been left three days! The key fob just makes it beep and flash, and the key symbol was flashing, until I pressed unlock again and the date was flashing. I hooked a battery pack up but it still won't start, I think the pack needs charging though, but I am going to jump start it tomorrow. Will let you know what happens.

Read the 307 manual and it says once the battery is reconnected to turn on the ignition and wait 1 minute before starting. I tried with the now almost full battery pack, then tried that way after I found that out, and it still wouldn't start. I hooked it up to my dads van in the end and after a couple or few attemps then some revving of the van it started!
