does anybody know if i can replace rear suspension on a 205 as a diy mechanic are there any problems or pitfalls, or any special tools required

depends which bits. the shock absorbers are really easy to change, just need a socket set, a tape measure and some weight. When tightening up they have to be at the correct length, so the weights must be put in the boot to achieve this. If you dont have one then the Haynes joke book (aka Haynes manual) is a good place to start.
Im sure if other bits can be done then others will be along shortly to help

hi there! depending on whats wrong with the rear suspension it could be as simple as the shocks (on often neglected component) or the tortion bar... which is not really worth fixing - the pug dealers go for replacement of everything (which isn't as expensive as one might think...) i'll get 205tref to tell you more later today about that as we are probably going to be doing a similar thing to our 205 CJ soon...
