Anyone got any experience of this?
I can sort the pump/pipework etc no problem but does anyone know of a pas rack that would fit without much modification? A 405 rack, BX rack?
Thanks

Ill need to double check but the basic layout of the subframe on the 305 and 406 hasn't changed a great deal, id just need to measure the distance of the bolt holes to see if the 406 rack would fit. The 305 steering is a fair bit heavier especially jumping straight from a newer car

I just had a look there, on a 406 subframe there are two bolt holes for the steering rack, they are 320mm apart and 16mm in diameter, on the 305 subframe they are also 320mm apart and the same size. So a 406 rack should fit, there are no holes or provisions for the brackets that clamp the hydraulic lines but it shouldn't be too hard to make them up and move the pipes around to suit installation in a 305.
