Loads of people come here to ask for help, and to give it too!
When asking a question however the same responses come up again and again, which delays you getting an answer and puts people off from volunteering information.
What model is it?
Diesel or Petrol?
What year is it?
etc etc.
So... when you have a problem please make sure that along with the actual problem, you make sure you tell us the model (106, 205 etc) the engine (petrol, diesel, 1.1, 1.9TD etc).
Remember the more info you include the better chance you have of getting a reply.
Oh and one more thing. If you do get a helpful reply don't forget to pop back and tell us, or drop a small pm of thanks, or better yet try and help out someone else in return. What goes around comes around.

i have a 106 on a k plate 1.1 8 valve and i have to set the valve clearence but am a bit unsure how to anyone help me out please

u'l need to take te roket cover off, and buy urself a feeler gauge, the tapits have adjusters on them and im sure inlet is 0.3mm and exahust is 0.45mm but don't quote me on that. get yourself a haynes manual, explains it all in there  |

Hi,
I've got a 1997 r reg 1.9 306TD. New glow plugs, new diesel battery, air filter and have put 2 bottles of injector cleaner in it. I've also raced the hell out of it on the motorway and it's still difficult to start (mostly when cold) and emmits a load of black smoke when i rev the engine. There is also no loss of oil. I'm stumped!

hi,i have a 2000 on the x plate 3.0 406 salon,,the car is in mint con,serviced only by peugoet,but i have a problem with the stereo,it has the muti-player in the boot and is brand new,but on radio or cd ,i get feed back as in a bump , all the speakers,sometimes loud sometimes not,apart from that the stereo is fantastic,it sounds like when you conect your speaker wires up to the amp and u get that thump, please help...cheers cheffy

hello! me too need help. my peugeot is 407sw 3yrs. just been serviced 2 days ago.
this afternoon there was a problem with the ignition - i put the key in it would not start, the message says that it does not recognise the key - the antitheft system kicked in (not the alarm!) for some reason. how can i start the car? (for the past few weeks the central locking system has packed in and i've been using the key for opening the door. this may contributed to the problem? or during the service they touched the electronic system? is there a 'trick' to go around this problem or do i have to take it to the garage? Many thanks in adv.!
