im buying a 205TD on Lreg , but the engine is in pieces cos the head as gone , im thinking of geting a 1.9TDI engine to put in it but not if it will fit.
does anyone know if the 1.9 td will go inn???

I`ve got a 205TD Lreg which is to be dismantled for spares.The engine is perfect,starts on the button and still in the car.call 01189589234 [work] and make me an offer??

Yes, my mate used to have a 205 GTi that he fitted with the 1.9 turbo diesel engine that he took out of a 405.
