Hi,
I have recently purchased another Pug 205 (Junior Diesel). I bought the car with no MOT and made all the repairs necessary for the MOT, one of which was to replace the offside CV joint boot. The car has now passed the MOT and works fine except that it pulls slightly to the left. The pull is very slight, is apparent at all speeds and does not change under braking.
Can anybody offer any advice about where to start looking for a problem?
Cheers, Snid

read the original topic question, i know there is more than 1 ball joint as im a factory trained peugeot master tech! so if you would like to tell me more about peugeots then carry on. he replaced the cv boot, not a ball joint.

I also drive the car in question, and I noticed today that the passenger side tyre was looking a little flat.... I'm thinking we need to look at the tyre pressure....
Would this cause the pull?

I've noticed pulling the left in all my 205s - but that's because there's no power steering to correct it. If I drive on the other side of the road, the camber makes it pull to the right. (As I found in Germany.)

I have also found the same problem in my pug 205 junior diesel. K reg. Bought it about a month ago.....thought it was due to a slow puncture in the left tyre, guy at tyre place tells me there is a buckle on the inside of the wheel which another garage disagreed with. Spare wheel is on and still going down.....still pulls slightly to the left aswell but not so much because of the tyre now.........
