chaps,
i'm re-doing the brakes on my 205 gti and have hit a problem, i'm trying to get a bit i think it is some kind of brake pressure regulator or non return valve. it is situated just infront of the fuel tank and is hexagonal shape, about 100mm long. it has a solid line coming in one side and out of the other. My problem is i dont know exactly what it is called so i'm not sure if i'm ordering the correct bit!
Any pointers would be a great help.
This car has rear disc brakes. no ABS.
Thanks

This Sounds like the brake regulator as I remember being mentioned in Haynes.

Yes,205GRD is correct,it is the brake pressure regulator. There are two one for each side,if it is a 1.9.There is an in and out but you can not go wronge as the unions are diferent sizes
