Hello, can anyone out there help? going on a trip and don'nt want to get pulled over for being overloaded!
I need to know the mamimum or gross vehicle weight limit for a 405 estate.
I also need the kerb weight unladen, hopefully if i subtract 1 from the other I should get the answer i'm looking for!
I'm pretty sure this info is in the vehicle handbook but I did'nt get one with the car!
There are 4 figures with kg stamped on a plate in the engine bay but with no reference to what they mean.
cheers

Hi, according to the Haynes manual the kerb weight is 1125 to 1210kg* and the maximum gross vehicle weight is 1605 to 1690 kg*. Also the Maximium roof rack load is 75kg and the maximum towing weight (braked trailer) is 1200kg.
*Depending on model.
These figures out of a Haynes manual for a 405 Diesel, might be different for sparker models, but they should give you a rough idea.
