hi all.
am new here, i have a 405td glx. and having big problems with leaking sunroof,(now sealed up)but the electrics are playing silly buggers. can't lock it as head lights stay on,hazards come on when i indicate,have had to take fuse out to stop that.headlights flash when you open the doors and driving along so have to drive around with headlights on.but the little red light is still flashing also the black box thing under drivers seat is clicking away. something to do with immobilizer i think? don't want to sell it.as people keep telling me.

Hello mate,

This is just a guess; but if the immobilizer/alarm box is under the seat and the sunroof has been leaking, maybe water has got into it? Just a thought. Could you disconnect the alarm and see if that cures your random electrics?

have you got the remote as it sounds to me like you havnt or it doesnt work. its the alarm thats playing up on yours and if you lock it with the plip it resets it.
