405, being a pain !!!

Well been as my lil 205 been off road for now 12 months , ive been using his 405 and i love all pugs dont get me wrnog but this ones getting annoying!

Its slowly developed something which is driving me nuts!

Basically when braking then putting clutch in to change gear the car totally cuts off the engine so to speak, sometimes it just brings on the lights and starts back up again, but yesterday as i was in the middle of road to turn right she cut off completly, and with a estate its a heavy thing without the engine on for PAS !

Does anyone know whats matter with her - cos yesterday she really scared me - i thought i'd broken down, first time shes cut off completly, prob cos i had to come to a stand still to turn....

Turbo diesel? Sound like an idle problem when the engine comes off load. could be fuel pump issues, related to the off boost fuelling function.

It is a Turbo Diesel, 1.9.
Ill pass this information onto my husband so he can have a look etc..
