405 coolant leak, smoke under the bonnet

Hi there, I was driving and noticed smoke coming out from under the bonnet of my '90 405. Lifted the bonnet and saw coolant coming out from the tube(valve?) in the centre of the picture. Is this the coolant overfill tube?



Someone please help me? Is this a fatal engine failure?
