My 406 V6 has just had the front brakes done, i now get vibration from the pedal. any one any ideas? My hand brake is in need of adustment could this be the cause?

its possibly wheel bearings, or warped disks, or somthing not been put on right, doubt that would cause the pedal to vibrate.

Handbrake is on the rear wheels and vibrations felt at the pedal will come from the front brakes. I'm not sure about the saloon/estate, but some models of 406Coupé V6 (can't remember the years) have a known problem with front discs getting warped. I suffered from it on my 2006 210bhp V6 Coupé and had to get new discs a few months ago. This problem affects 406s with Brembo calipers.

depends on if they where geuine peugeot discs or cheap copys, also on how its driven.
