Does anyone where I can get 2 blank 404 ignition keys. They are Neumann(?) brand. I can get a local locksmith to cut them.

Look on ebay.com or ebay.com.au. I saw blank keys for 04 series consistently for a while a few months ago. The seller might still be offering them...

You can also go to a key cutter/shoe repair shop. If you show them an existing key, they'll cut you new ones.

Are they are the same as the 504, with the little oblong hole in the end?

Pretty sure they are. 304 and 204 keys were of similar shape, just like with many other (french?) cars of the 60/70s (eg: Renault 4/5/6/12/16). I got copies made in 5 mins at my local shoe repair shop for my 504 a couple of years ago and I didn't need blank keys.

My daily use ignition key is one I had cut. It says NE14 on it as the pattern, on HD brand. I had it cut at Devizes Motor Panels. You should be able to get their number off www.bt.comThey also did the sperate fuel cap key and boot key no problem. They might be able to post you a blank. I think all 3 cost about £4 cut!

I got sorted. Web site www.key-men.com is able to supply a blank or cut key. Since I had the lock/key number they offer to supply a cut key posted to me for $14.90. They seem capable of helping with many older locks. Thanks for help.

Thanks for info. Wheel cylinder wrong type. Anyway I replaced all brakes last year and now it stops as good as it goes. I could use a left wing at some stage, preferrably a new one.
