Now myself I kind of regard Peugeots golden age as when they were turning out the mighty 504. In fact all the 04 series cars are classic peugoets in my mind and indelibly linked to the core values of the company, engineering, reliability, comfort and style. However many people (particularly in the club would say that Peugeots golden age was when they were turning out 2 and 403's. Then along comes the 205 and it's a golden age all over again with huge interest in the marque, rally success and sails finally taking off in the UK. This continued with the 309 and 405, both huge successes. Latterly the 306 has carved a niche for itself in the hearts of owners. But what of today. Are Peugeots current cars up to the job? Will 2006 be another golden era? What do you think, and what would you say was the definitive golden age of Peugeot?

didn't the 205 save the company's bacon? I love the 405 brill car and the turbo derv is just unburstable. Only thing I hate about it is when the drivers window is open any you wash the screen the water gushes in you would have thought Peugeot to have sorted this in the cars long lifetime.
