I have just been frightened by my local dealership because I need the cabling and relays in front of the radiator between the cooling fans.
The replacement loom will cost £239.15 and the relays £11.06/each.
Anyone any ideas where I could purchase the relays and I can then try joining the good sections of the cables.
I have tried GSF parts, Euro Car Parts and looked at Pugspares but none appear to carry such things!
Any help would be appreciated, I am fed up with having a flat battery every 2 days that will not start the engine because the fans are running at full speed constantly!
Regards, Peter.

Without seeing the job its dificult to comment, has the loom got burnt wires? The useall problem is corroded and burnt multi plugs that the relays fit into.A good auto electrical expert would be able to cut off the multi plugs and make up fittings to new relays. You must use new Pug` relays and get a good water tight job done.It will not be a cheap job but a lot less than a dealer replacing the whole loom!!!Get out your yellow pages and find a good bloke.

Thankyou for your suggestion, I intend re-routing the cables and relays behind the radiator instead of in front and putting the relays in watertight boxes from Maplins.
All I really need to know now is of an alternative supplier of the relays.
Peter.

I have bought the relays at my local dealer, surprisingly the price quoted was cheaper than anywhere else I searched on the net!
Wish me luck with the rewiring, tomorrow!
Peter.
Addendum: Today, 9th. February, relays replaced, waste of time!
